Honda will showcase some new cars at the Auto Expo 2018, including the new Civic and the CR-V. The new Honda CR-V will draw power from the 1.6-litre diesel engine from Honda's Earth Dreams series producing 160bhp and 350Nm of torque. Honda will also manufacture the engine in India to keep the costs low as the same engine will be employed in the Civic. The petrol version of the Civic will draw power from the 1.8-litre naturally aspirated VTEC engine producing around 140bhp. The petrol engine is expected to be coupled to a manual or automatic gearbox. The new Civic will be launched in the Indian market in 2019.
