President Trump on Wednesday met with American workers at the White House and recalled the time Melania Trump starred in a television commercial, reports People magazine. In response to being gifted a pair of socks adorned with the Aflac duck by Michael Porter, a resource manager for the insurance company, Trump said, "Oh good. Your chairman I know very well, and he's done a fantastic job."
"They actually a long time ago hired my wife to do a big commercial. You know that right? An Aflac commercial and I think it was a successful commercial too," the president further noted. In the 2005 sci-fi/classic horror film themed spot, a mad scientist swaps Melania Trump's brain with that of the company's duck mascot in an effort "to tell the world the benefits of Aflac with sex appeal!"  The brain-swapping experiment is a success, leaving Melania Trump with webbed feet and a quack. The duck ends up with eyelashes and a sultry voice, notes Bustle. Despite President Trump's moment of glowing praise for his wife, much of the talk about the first lady continues to revolve around her apparent response to her husband's alleged affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels. Shortly after the initial reports surfaced, the first lady's spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, said that her trip to Davos, Switzerland with the president was canceled due to "scheduling and logistical issues."  In more recent days, she notably broke tradition and traveled to the State of the Union address with her guests and without the president.
