On Monday there was a fresh demand made to nab the killers of Gauri Lankesh. Gauri's brother Indrajit Lankesh demanded that the probe by the Special Investigation Team is going nowhere and hence the CBI must come into the picture. An officer associated with the probe informed that he belongs to a neighbouring state and had fled to his home town immediately after the incident. A man hunt has been launched for him and we are confident that he would be nabbed soon, the officer also said. The SIT said that there were some issues pending following which they would reveal the identity of the accused and also the state he hails from. The current status of the accused is that he is on the run.
