Myths around IVF resulting in multiple pregnancies

Multiple pregnancies occur where excess embryos are transferred in the female partner's uterus. At our clinic International Fertility Centre, we limit our embryo transfer to only 2 blastocysts on day 5 of female partner's menstrual cycle.Chances of twin pregnancy are around 5% higher. If the couple does not wish to go ahead with twin pregnancy then fetal reduction can be done.
