President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his 70th death anniversary on Tuesday. Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, Congress President Rahul Gandhi along with other senior dignitaries pay tributes Bapu at Rajghat. An inter-religious prayer was also organised to mark the day. Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948. This day is also observed as 'Martyrs Day' by the nation. Watch this video to know more about the news.
