...So the actor was a perfect pick for an upcoming Crocodile Dundee sequel...except that the film is fake.

The film not-to-be stars Danny McBride and features Chris Hemsworth.

'Dundee: The Son of a Legend Returns Home' turned out to be a viral marketing campaign for Tourism Australia.

The full trailer will air next week during Super Bowl Sunday.
