PyeongChang Winter Olympics certain to be largest Winter Games in history

With the deadline to finalize entries for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics ending just over an hour ago,... we now know for sure that the Games will be the largest in Winter Olympic history... both in terms of participating nations and athletes.
According to the organizing committee, nearly three-thousand athletes from 95 nations have been registered to compete.
This breaks the record set four years ago at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, when two-thousand-800 athletes from 88 countries took part.
There will also be a record 102 gold medals up for grabs,... thanks to the addition of four new events,... including mass start speed skating, where South Korea is aiming for gold.
