Openly disregarding the directives given by the state government, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagat unfurled the Indian flag on Friday at a school in Kerala's Palakkad town. A few days back, the CPI(M)-led LDF government issued a circular to all the state-run aided school to avoid the unfurling of a National flag from any political leader. In the circular, the government-aided schools only the headmasters or principals were allowed to hoist the national flag on the Republic Day. But, RSS chief Mohan Bhagat flouted the state government's order and took part in the celebration of the Republic Day in Kerala.
