In 1968 the band The Trip moved from England to Italy the line-up included Andersen, Gray, Ian Broad on drums and a young Ritchie Blackmore on guitar. A line-up change brought keyboard player Joe Vescovi and Pino Sinnone on drums while Blackmore returned to England to join Deep Purple. The new line-up came to their first self-titled album release in 1970. A debut that mixes prog rock with rock-blues and some psychedelic moves.
