मद्रास हाईकोर्ट से एक नया मामला सामने आया है। मद्रास हाईकोर्ट ने उम्रकैद की सजा काट रहे एक 40 साल के व्यक्ति को बच्चे पैदा करने के लिए दो सप्ताह की छुट्टी दी है। तुरुनेवेली जेल में बंद सिद्दिकी अली की 32 वर्षीय पत्नी ने जस्टिस एस. विमला देवी और टी कृष्णा वल्ली की अदातल में 'बंदी प्रत्यक्षीकरण याचिका' दायर की थी। जिसमें उसने वैवाहिक संबंध बनाने के लिए कैदी की छुट्टी के लिए याचिका डाली थी। इस बेंच ने मामले की सुनवाई करते हुए कैदी को वैवाहिक संबंध बनाने के लिए दो सप्ताह का अवकाश दिया है।
