Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to New Delhi on early morning Wendesday from Zurich after he concluded his World Economic Forum visit in Davos, Switzerland. Prime Minister Modi addressed plenary session at the forum on Tuesday and hosted dinner for global CEO’s in Davos during his visit. Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister to attend the World Economic Forum after 20 years. HD Deve Gowda was the last prime minister to the summit in 1997. At the outset, PM Modi said he was happy to be in Davos and thanked the people and Government of Switzerland for the warm welcome.
