After Vanity Fair Report, Trump Tweets Kelly Is 'Doing A Fantastic Job'

President Trump took to Twitter and praised John Kelly, following a Vanity Fair report that he has considered replacing him.

Vanity Fair recently reported that President Trump has considered replacing John Kelly as White House chief of staff. On Tuesday morning, Trump tweeted an apparent response to that report.
"Thank you to General John Kelly, who is doing a fantastic job, and all of the Staff and others in the White House, for a job well done," Trump wrote on Twitter. "Long hours and Fake reporting makes your job more difficult, but it is always great to WIN, and few have won more than us!"
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders had a much more blunt response to the report.
"I would not use Vanity Fair for much other than a coaster," Sanders said in an interview with Fox & Friends. "I don't think that it is a reliable source of information."
Gabriel Sherman of Vanity Fair wrote on Monday, "Two prominent Republicans in frequent contact with the White House told me that Trump has discussed choosing Kelly's successor in recent days."
The piece claims Trump has privately expressed that "Kelly acts like he's running the government" and reportedly told a friend, "I've got another nut job here who thinks he's running things."
