Poll: Nearly Half Of Americans Think Trump Is Not Mentally Stable

According to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll, 47% of Americans think President Trump is not "mentally stable."

White House physician Ronny Jackson recently said at a press briefing that based on the results of a cognitive exam, there are no concerns about President Trump's mental fitness.
However, according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll, nearly half of Americans seem to have a different view.
While 48% of those polled said that they think Trump is mentally stable, 47% responded he is not.
And according to a news statement on the poll results, his 36% approval rating is the "lowest in modern polling for a president at this point, with deep deficits on policy and personal matters alike."
The poll involved 1,005 adults and was conducted from January 15 to January 18.
In the wake of renewed concerns about his mental fitness after the release of Michael Wolff's new book, Trump addressed those concerns on Twitter in early January.
'Throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart," Trump tweeted. "I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!"
