Where The Housing Shortage In America Has Hit Crisis Levels

Real estate firm Zillow says the number of homes available for sale in America fell for a third straight year in 2017. According to Business Insider, there were 10% fewer homes on the market in December 2017 compared with December 2016. That means aging millennials may be pushed out into more far-flung suburbs. Most of the cities with the greatest housing shortages are in the West and Southwest, with the number one spot going to San Jose, California.
