Gold from the Mumbai Airport has been seized. The gold was about 1.5 kg. Air Intelligence Unit at Mumbai airport seized 1.5kms of gold worth approximately Rs. 4 lakhs. In this case, two people have been arrested. An individual, who is illegally smuggling gold, is being told to be of Sri Lankan origin. On Friday, the Mumbai Intelligence Unit got information about gold smuggling. After which the Intelligence team conducted a dense search operation at the Mumbai airport. On the same day, on January 9, 3.5 kg gold worth one crore worth of rupees was seized on the Mumbai airport.

मुंबई एयरपोर्ट से सोने जब्त किया गया है। ये सोना करीब 1.5 किलो था ।मुंबई एयरपोर्ट पर एयर इंटेलीजेंस यूनिट ने लगभग चालीस लाख रुपए की कीमत का डेढ़ किलों सोना जब्त किया है। इस मामले में दो लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। अवैध रूप से सोने की तस्करी करने वाला एक व्यक्ति श्रीलंका मूल का बताया जा रहा है। शुक्रवार को मुंबई इंटेलीजेंसी यूनिट को सोने की तस्करी की जानकारी मिली थी। जिसके बाद इटेलीजेंस टीम ने मुंबई एयरपोर्ट पर सघन तलाशी अभियान चलाया था। वहीं आपको बता दे कि इससे पहले 9 जनवरी को मुंबई एयरपोर्ट पर करीब एक करोड़ मूल्य का 3.5 किग्रा सोना जब्त किया गया था।
