New York Times Thriving Despite Trump Criticism

A year since Donald Trump took office, shares of the New York Times have gained more than 51%. According to the S&P 500 index, a common Wall Street benchmark, subscriptions for the Times have also soared with total revenue increasing by 6% quarter-over-quarter. All in all, the paper has thrived despite Trump tweeting disparaging comments about it at least 38 times since becoming president, often referring to the publication as 'The Failing New York Times'.
