Couple Charged in California For Keeping Kids in Squalor

According to authorities in Riverside County, a couple kept 13 children living in squalor for years.
The children, between the ages of 2 and 29, were only allowed to shower once a year, and were only give one meal a day.
Authorities raided the home in Perris after a 17-year-old escaped and called 911 with a cellphone.
David and Louise Turpin have since been arrested, and face numerous charges for their acts.
Authorities have already charged the couple with 13 counts of torture, false imprisonment, and child endangerment.
