VTR:  Mr. Oktar, I am an ardent follower of your program. What should we make of your recent statement about freemasonry? Thank you.

ADNAN OKTAR: Masons should be regarded with compassion. They used to be presented as a grave threat, as the army of dajjal. They suffered terrible persecution. They are still under Catholic excommunication. Catholics despise them, and so do Jews to a certain extent. Many movements shun the freemasonry. Traditionalist Orthodox Muslims, too, consider them an insidious and dangerous threat. If nobody gives heed to them, then who will? Why do you throw them into the clutches of satan? Talk to them, communicate with them, befriend them and familiarize them with Islam. Otherwise, we will be held accountable. Pharaoh was also a mason. Yet the Prophet Moses (pbuh) went to him and preached his religion. Nimrod was a mason as well, a high ranking mason actually. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) went to him and preached religion to him. Taking a look at the major historical shows us that these people had always been preached the religion. In short, one should never refrain from preaching religion.
