19 more accusers may testify against Bill Cosby in his upcoming sex assault retrial, potentially expanding the scope of the proceeding.

Montgomery County prosecutors have asked the judge for more alleged victims to testify against the disgraced actor in order to help bolster the claims of the main accuser, Andrea Constand. His first trial in June 2017 ended in a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a verdict.

As readers know, Cosby, 80, is charged with drugging and molesting Costand in 2004.

District Attorney Kevin R. Steele filed the motion Thursday. The new request includes the original 13 women, as well as six more.

Steele had sought to introduce 13 other accusers as evidence of a pattern of sexual assault at the first trial but Judge Steven T. O’Neill, of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, permitted only one, Kelly Johnson.

Johnson claimed Cosby drugged and assaulted her in a Los Angeles hotel room in 1996.
