21 State Attorneys General File Suit Against the FCC's Net Neutrality Repeal The lawsuit claims that the FCC's repeal was "arbitrary, capricious, and an abuse of discretion." The suit was officially filed on Tuesday, with California, New York and Connecticut as a few of the states involved. “Internet access is a utility, just like water and electricity. And every consumer has a right to access online content without interference or manipulation by their internet service provider.” A repeal is also in the works in the Senate, where Democrats announced they have 50 votes in favor of a repeal, leaving them one vote shy of the majority. The FCC has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
