Ex-director of Jared Fogle's Foundation Sentenced to 27 Years for Child Sex Crimes

The former director of a foundation founded by ex-Subway pitchman Jared Fogle has been sentenced to 27 years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges. Russell Taylor, 44, who served as the executive director of the Jared Fogle Foundation, which focused on child obesity, pled guilty to several counts of child sexual exploitation and one count of distributing and receiving child pornography. Taylor’s attorney had asked for a sentence between 15 to 23 years, while prosecutors were seeking 35 years followed by a lifetime of supervised release.
