A woman and her brother were assaulted by a drunk mob of revellers on New Year's Eve in Bengaluru. A CCTV footage that surfaced on Tuesday purportedly shows an incident that took place on the night of December 31, 2017, in Indiranagar locality of Bengaluru. Despite heavy police presence and heightened security measures, the CCTV footage shows how a mob, in an inebriated state, assaulted a girl and her friend after their bike accidentally brushed against one of the gang members. The video shows a gang of inebriated revellers dancing in the middle of the road and stopping vehicles and forcefully wishing people.
