James Cameron Responds to Eliza Dushku's Claims
  • 6 years ago
James Cameron, the director of True Lies, has responded to Eliza Dushku’s claim she was molested by a stuntman on the set of the movie.

Eliza starred as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter in the 1994 film, but she recently admitted that a stuntman named Joel Kramer abused her.

And Cameron says that had he known about the incident, there would have been no mercy.

He added that he just heard of the story, but he thinks Eliza is brave for speaking up. He also called what she went through ‘heartbreaking’, and said directors were historically pretty oblivious to the interpersonal things on set because they are so focused creatively.

Eliza made the revelations in a lengthy Facebook post and detailed the chilling account of what the stuntman allegedly did to her.

She has been praised for her bravery in coming forward.
