Search For Survivors Of Deadly Mudslide Enters Its Third Day

On Friday, the search for survivors from a deadly Southern California mudslide that has killed at least seventeen people moved in to its third day, with some 700 rescue workers scouring the rubble. The massive mudslide struck before dawn on Tuesday, when a wall of mud and debris careened down hillsides that were weakened by last month's wildfires, including the Thomas Fire, the largest blaze in the state’s history.
