Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha says she'd 'be hurt' if not invited to the royal wedding

THE half-sister of Meghan Markle has been sounding off again about Prince Harry’s bride-to-be revealing that she is still hoping for an invite to the Royal Wedding.

Samantha Grant, 52, hopes that former Suits actress Meghan Markle, 33, will “forgive” her following plans to release a tell-all book entitled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.

Enough to even still score an invitation to watch her little sis walk down the aisle to fifth-in-line to the British throne, Prince Harry, on May 19 at Windsor Castle.

Reflecting on her chances in a new interview, Samantha, who has used a wheelchair since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008, said:“I don’t know... I don’t know if she’s going to feel that my book is good. There’s a lot of misperception out there.

“I’d be lying to say that I wouldn’t be hurt if I didn’t get an invite but that’s really up to her.

“That’s her day. It’s her special moment. And I would love to be a part of it. But, I think, possibly she might also understand that it’s not easy for all of us to get there. But if we can, we will.”

“It would be pleasing for us to be there and be invited. But it’s entirely her decision,” she added to the Mirror.

Another issue that could prevent Samantha from claiming a place at St George’s Chapel is that she and Meghan haven’t spoken in several years.

This family rift she claims is down to Meghan’s beloved mother Doria Ragland, 61.

Samantha told In Touch that her former stepmother had “just shut everyone out,” herself and brother Thomas Markle Jr included when Meghan first began dating Prince William's brother.

"In my mind Doria wanted to run around and seal off all the hatches. She became very possessive and controlling," she told the US publication.

Samantha further alleged that Doria, a social worker and yoga teacher, even wanted to live in the palace with the couple.

Meghan and Harry first confirmed their engagement in November 2017.
