Closer inspection revealed the koala was deceased, covered in blood, and appeared to have suffered head trauma. There was also a tied bunch of leaves hanging near the posed carcass. "It's just sick, it makes me want to throw up," Murray Chambers, a member of Koala Rescue Queensland, said to the BBC. "I've been doing this job for 10 years and I've never seen anything like it."
