You might have noticed this, but in case you didn’t, Meghan Markle just went dark.
Yup, the former Suits actress has shut down all her social media accounts, which still came as a shock, even though they had been dormant for a while.
There was no forewarning that this was the plan, but given her current role and upcoming wedding, we kind of understand her thinking.
A palace source reportedly told The Daily Mail that Meghan is grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years, however she has not used these accounts for some time.
The actress had more than 1.9 million Instagram followers and more than 350,000 followers on Twitter. And lets not forget, her Facebook page had almost 800,000 likes.
Of course, senior members of the monarchy have official Twitter and Instagram accounts run by a team of social media experts and they do not post personal tweets or posts.
So she could be back up and running pretty soon.
