Fox Guest Says Trump Could Win Against 'Jesus And The Virgin Mary' In 2020

Steve Cortes, a former Trump campaign operative, recently said that President Trump could win against Jesus and the Virgin Mary in 2020.

Recent talk of a possible Oprah Winfrey 2020 presidential run has many weighing the odds of her emerging victorious against President Trump.  Steve Cortes, a former Trump campaign operative, says that not only would the incumbent president beat the beloved American icon, "[but] he can [also] run against a combined ticket of Jesus and the Virgin Mary and he will still win in 2020."  The assertion was made on Tuesday during an interview with Stuart Varney of Fox Business.  "I don't know what Oprah believes," Cortes also noted. "I do know this, that she lives in a world of absolute media adoration and I think that would change very quickly after getting in the business of politics." Speculation about Winfrey vying to take the high office began after Sunday's Golden Globe Awards, during which she gave a powerful speech. Soon after, sources told CNN that Winfrey is "actively thinking" about running for president and is being urged to do so by close friends. However, one person who is very close to her and has been for a very long time says otherwise. Gayle King, a co-host on 'CBS This Morning,' said on Tuesday that while Winfrey finds the idea "intriguing," she is not "actively considering" the option.
