Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani, who is undeterred by the FIR lodged against him for allegedly promoting enmity between communities in Pune, is confident of pinning down the BJP below the 100-seat mark in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In an interview Jignesh Mevani says that "if the Hardik Patels, Alpesh Thakors and Jignesh Mevanis of the country join forces, the BJP will be restricted to double digits in the general elections".
