Screenwriter Not Returning For 'Bright' Sequel
  • 6 years ago
Netflix's "Bright" is getting a sequel, but the film's screenwriter, Max Landis, won't be returning. Instead, the script will be handled by David Ayer, known for writing and directing last year's "Suicide Squad." "Bright" has been critically panned and Landis has been accused of several counts of sexual misconduct since Christmastime. However, the movie saw 11 million domestic TV views in its first three days of release. It currently is available to stream on Netflix.
