Netflix confirms it's making a sequel to its Will Smith film 'Bright,' which critics hate but tons of people have watched

The fantasy action Netflix film “Bright,” starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton as LAPD cops will be getting a sequel. Netflix said in a release that “Bright” was the highest viewed Netflix film ever on their service in its first week of release. The movie, however, bombed with critics receiving just a 28% on rotten tomatoes. “Bright” which is set in a world where humans, orcs and elves coexist was made for a budget of 90 million which shows the company’s push into the world of big budget films.
