North Korea Reopens Phone Line With South Korea, and the Phones Sure Are Weird

Kim Jong Un and President Donald Trump recently traded threats about each rulers “nuclear button.” The exchange was unsettling, but in an uncharacteristically optimistic speech Kim expressed hope for a “peaceful resolution” to the conflict with South Korea. Since the speech Kim has ordered a phone line which has been dormant for some time between south and North Korea to be reopened. The first call between the two warring nations took place on Wednesday.
