A new lens has been licensed to a startup for commercial development. The Metalens was created by bright scientists at Harvard University. The Metalens is capable of focusing the entire visible light spectrum into a single point. This invention will be revolutionary for Virtual Reality, the new metalens would be thinner and relatively inexpensive as well as able to see the full range of color that we see in the natural world.
