Mormon President Thomas Monson Dead At 90

(Reuters) - Mormon President Thomas Monson, who headed one of the world’s fastest growing and most affluent religions, has died at his home in Salt Lake City, Utah, the church said on Wednesday. He was 90. Monson died at 10:01 p.m. on Tuesday surrounded by his family, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the official name of the religion, said in a statement on its website.
