Trump's statement on Steve Bannon is an admission that Trump is a terrible manager

The White House has issued a statement in which President Donald Trump responds to the excerpts from Michael Wolff’s forthcoming book “Fire and Fury” which quotes Bannon saying Trump’s son took a “treasonous” meeting with Russian operatives in June 2016. President Trump says that his former top aide Steve Bannon has “lost his mind” and is “only in it for himself.” The statement also makes the allegation that Bannon “spent his time at the White House leaking false information to make himself seem far more important than he was.” The question is, if Bannon was so useless why did he stay in the White House for as long as he did.
