The Dutch plan to build world's largest wind farm in the middle of the North Sea

TenneT, a company who controls the grid system of the Netherlands, released plans to construct an artificial island to host the world's largest wind farm. The island will be located approximately 60 miles from the UK and is believed to be able to generate 30 gigawatts of power.
