Siblings Surprise Mom by Paying Off Mortgage

Three siblings in Texas surprised their mother for Christmas by paying off the rest of her home mortgage in Sugar Land, a suburb just outside of Houston.Bahran Embaye captured a video of the moment he and his siblings told their mother, Nigisti Asgedom, about the surprise and her emotional reaction, and shared it on Facebook afterwards.Embaye said, “If you know my mom you know she deserves the world, when she’s dealt a bad hand she takes it in stride and thanks god…for Christmas me my brother and sister decided to pay the remaining balance on our childhood home that she works 2 jobs, 12 hrs a day to pay for just to pass down to us…now she can enjoy being a grandma, and relax.” Credit: Facebook/Bahran Embaye via Storyful
