Situated on the seafront in China's Hebei province, this library first opened its doors in 2015.

Standing alone on a deserted beach, "the world's loneliest library" as it has been dubbed has gained attention as pictures of the facility were posted online.

Designers of the seaside library said that the library, built on a beach in Hebei, aims to offer an unparalleled experience, providing its patrons with seaside views while they read their books.
