UK windsurfers, swimmers brave New Year's Day cold

Windsurfers were out on New Year's day to blow off the cobwebs, on a rough sea with strong winds at Marazion in Cornwall, southwest England, today.

Hardy swimmers, including several pensioners, also took to the waters in nearby Penzance this afternoon for their annual New Year's Day swim.
