Free vending machines for homeless people are coming to the U.S. in 2018

A charity in the United Kingdom is testing vending machines that dispense essential items like water, food, and clothing to people with nowhere to go at night. The free-to-use service is the work of Nottingham-based Action Hunger and exclusively for the use of the homeless community. The vending machines will run on key cards given to out at shelters and local outreach centers and can be used to get up to three items per day.
