Balkan turkey farmers get ready for new year tradition

Video from a farm near Tirana of turkeys grown to be eaten as part of a long-standing new year tradition in the Balkan region that dates back to the Communist era.

The turkeys seen here are grown to be eaten as families gather on the night of December 31. Such a tradition contrasts with the UK and other parts of the world where turkey is consumed on Christmas Day.
