2018 Mini Cars Coming With New 7-Speed DCT - DriveSpark

Mini has upgraded their transmission into a 7-speed dual clutch for all their upcoming 2018 models.

Till now, Mini offered only a 6-speed manual or a single clutch automatic in their models. Customers who buy a Mini Cooper are mostly people who enjoy driving. For them, the standard 6-speed automatic seemed too dull for their liking.

Mini, being under BMW, has come with a new (borrowed) 7-speed DCT which promises to give a much better response and feel to the driver.

It even has got SatNav adaptability, coast, and creep function.
