'The Last Jedi' Projected to Soon Reach $1 Billion Globally

This coming week, 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' is set to pass the $1 billion mark at the global box office. The eighth film in the legendary franchise, which was released in theaters worldwide only 10 days ago, has earned $450 million globally thus far. According to The Wrap, the film will earn $100 million domestically on over 4,200 screens by Monday. It is then projected to cross the $400 million mark domestically by Tuesday and the $1 billion mark around the world later in the week.
