Jodie Foster's first directed film was about a single mother raising a son and now she has returned to that idea but is focusing on a mother raising a daughter. Foster will be directing an episode of Netflix series "Black Mirror" and in it will tell the story of a mom so anxious about her girl that she turns to a sophisticated surveillance tool. She said there is a different dynamic between a mother and her boys and a mother and her girls.
