On Friday people were prohibited from buying and selling on the popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. In recent days the overall market for digital currencies has been under extreme pressure. Coinbase released a statement saying: "Due to today's high traffic, buys and sells may be temporarily offline. We're working on restoring full availability as soon as possible." The company said it is "working on a fix" in an alert, adding that it apologizes for inconveniences.
