UN Security Council Adopts New North Korean Sanctions

The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted new sanctions against North Korea.
Drafted by the United States, the sanctions are in direct response to continued ballistic missile tests.
US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley stated these new sanctions are in response to a test in late November, and further sanctions passed back in September.
Ambassador Haley added the actions of Kim Jong Un's government are a path of isolation.
