Automotive manufacturers are equipping most of their models with Automatic Emergency Braking these days. There is no law, anywhere in the world, that makes AEB mandatory in cars.

However, car brands still chose to equip them in their cars. As of now, this feature is usually seen in higher segment cars, but manufacturers are slowly trickling down the features to cheaper cars too.

Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and Tesla are the leading brands which equip AEB in more than 90% of their models.
