Brennan Slams Trump Over UN Threat: 'Qualities Usually Found in Narcissistic, Vengeful Autocrats'

Former CIA chief John Brennan slammed President Trump in a tweet over the UN Jerusalem vote.

Former CIA director John Brennan took to Twitter on Thursday and slammed President Trump for his threat to cut aid to the nations that opposed the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
"Trump Admin threat to retaliate against nations that exercise sovereign right in UN to oppose US position on Jerusalem is beyond outrageous," Brennan wrote. "Shows @realDonaldTrump expects blind loyalty and subservience from everyone—qualities usually found in narcissistic, vengeful autocrats."
Brennan was likely referring to Trump's remarks made prior to a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
"For all of these nations that take our money and then they vote against us at the Security Council, or they vote against us potentially at the assembly," Trump told reporters. "They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we're watching those votes. Let them vote against us, we'll save a lot."
Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, also commented on the matter.
"At the UN we're always asked to do more & give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American ppl, abt where to locate OUR embassy, we don't expect those we've helped to target us," she tweeted Wednesday.  "On Thurs there'll be a vote criticizing our choice. The US will be taking names."
Despite the administration's threats, the UN General Assembly voted 128-9 in favor of condemning Trump's Jerusalem decision.
