UN general assembly overwhelmingly defies Trump

The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on the status of Jerusalem on 21 December, 2017. 128 nations voted to declare the President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital "null and void," while nine voted against and 35 abstained.
