In fact, some fans have started a petition to have the film removed from cannon. Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been at the center of a storm of controversies that have seen the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise become a divisive topic for many fans. This petition is the latest effort to register fans’ objections with Disney and Lucasfilm.
